All set for your Super Bowl Party this weekend, February 7th, 2010? If not, and you need an idea for drinks to go along with all the great appetizers and other foods you’ll be serving, give this Super Bowl Touchdown Punch Recipe a try!
If you want a non-alcoholic version of the punch, simply omit the vodka.
Serving punch is a good way to monitor the alcohol intake of your guests….you can pour in as much as you like, or just use one or 2 shots of vodka in the mix. No matter how much you decide, do make your guests aware that the punch contains vodka, as many people don’t care to drink anything, especially if there’s a drive ahead of them.

Please drink responsibly, and ask your guests to do the same!

You will need:

Large punch bowl
Punch cups or glasses
Large spoon
Ladle

6 cups cold cranberry juice
6 cups cold pineapple juice
1 3/4 cups sugar
1-1/2 Tbs. almond extract
Cold ginger ale ( I use Canada Dry ) 2-liter size
1/2 to 1 pint vodka

Ice cubes ( just enough to keep punch chilled )

Mix everything in punch bowl except ginger ale and vodka.
Stir until sugar has dissolved, add ginger ale, vodka and ice; stir lightly. Serve and enjoy!
