The Saints and Colts are heading to Super Bowl XLIV on Sunday, February 7th, 2010. The game will be played at Sun Life stadium in Miami, Florida and by now you either know what you’re serving or bringing to the Super Bowl Party or you’re frantically searching for easy super bowl appetizer recipes!
It’s chili cheese crackers to the rescue! Not only scrumptious, they’re easy and inexpensive to make, as well as being kid friendly ( they tend to balk at placing the onions on top though! )
Give this a try on Super Bowl Sunday! Actually, give it a try anytime…we make these year ’round whether we’re having company or not!

You will need:
Large serving tray
Cutting board

4 oz. cheddar cheese ( or your favorite cheese )
2 dozen or so Crackers or saltines ( I use Ritz )
1/2 to 3/4 cup chili, heated ( canned chili is fine )
2 Tbs. onions, minced or finely chopped
About a dozen green olives, sliced in half and optional

Directions:

Arrange crackers on serving tray.
Slice cheese into 12 pieces… then cut slices in half.
Place cheese on top of crackers, followed by Tsp. of chili then a bit of onion. Place half an olive on top to garnish.

It’s that easy…serve and enjoy!
