The Saints and Colts are heading to Super Bowl XLIV on Sunday, February 7th, 2010. The game will be played at Sun Life stadium in Miami, Florida and hopefully you won’t be stuck in the kitchen while having your Super Bowl Party.
Since Buffalo wings, chicken wings, just about any finger food will be served at almost all parties, the question is “will you be using a bottled blue cheese dressing or do you want to try this easy super bowl recipe for blue cheese wing dip?”
You know the one I’m talking about…the one most of us order when having wings as we dine out. Yes…THAT one!
It’s super easy to make, absolutely delicious and keeps well. ( in the unlikely event you have leftovers )
Give it a try…make it a day ahead if you want, it gives the flavors more time to blend, making it even more scrumptious!

You will need:

Medium Bowl
Wooden spoon
Serving bowl

3/4 cup mayonnaise ( We use Hellmann’s )
1/2 cup sour cream
3/4 cup blue cheese crumbles

1 clove minced garlic
2 Tbs.fresh parsley, chopped fine
1 Tbs. onion, minced ( optional )

1 Tbs fresh lemon juice
1 Tbs white vinegar
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
dash or 2 of pepper

Place everything in the mixing bowl, stir until well blended. Cover and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight. Remove and place in serving bowl.
Serve with Buffalo wings, chicken wings, snackers or fresh cut veggies. Enjoy!
