Not only is it delicious, there’s minimal clean up involved…giving you more time to enjoy yourself!
Hint: It goes fairly fast so you might want to double the recipe if you’re throwing a big party.

You will need:

Large, heavy skillet
Large slotted spoon

1 # ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
16 oz. carton fresh mushrooms, washed and sliced
1 can diced tomatoes with chilies ( I use Rotel )
1 pkg, cream cheese ( 8 oz, size )
4 oz. cheese spread or Velveeta ( cut in small pieces
Dash garlic salt
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Brown hamburger in skillet along with onions and mushrooms. Add seasonings. Cook until all meat is browned…drain off grease.
Add cream cheese, tomatoes, cheese spread or Velveeta and stir well. Cook on medium low until cheese is melted.

Place in serving bowl and serve warm with your favorite snackers, tortilla chips or garlic bread. Enjoy!
