If you’re planning a Super Bowl Party this year, you only have a few more weeks to pull your menu and plans together. Super Bowl recipes are by far easier to make and serve than other party food…the atmosphere is casual, the people jovial and food and drink basically simplistic.
Try making this 3 cheese baguette to go along with your other appetizers. It’s quite easy, the taste is almost sinful, there’s never any leftovers and the compliments are many….you can’t go wrong with such a delicious baguette!
You will need:
2 small bowls
1 baguette ( cut in 1/4 inch rounds )
1/2 Parmesan cheese -grated
2 oz. feta cheese
1 small pkg cream cheese, softened ( 3 oz. size )
2 large Roma tomatoes, washed and diced small
1/4 cup chopped green olives
Extra virgin olive oil ( don’t substitute )
Dash or 2 garlic salt
1 oz. fresh basil, chopped fine
Place sliced baguette rounds on baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with Parmesan. ( I often line baking sheet with tin foil for easier clean up )
Place under broiler until edges start to brown. Remove from oven.
Mix cream cheese and feta together, stir in olives and spread on each slice
Mix basil, dash of garlic salt and tomato together in bowl. then put 1 Tbs on each baguette slice.
Place on party tray, serve and enjoy!
