Planning a Super Bowl party this year? Regardless of whether you’re having one person over or dozens, this Super Bowl cheeseburger dip is almost a must have. Not only is it absolutely delicious it’s inexpensive and so easy to make you won’t even realize you’re in the kitchen!
We have served this dip, or variations of it for over a decade…it’s easy to adjust to your own personal taste and goes fast, so consider a double batch when you try it!

You will need:

large bowl- microwavable
medium skillet
large slotted spoon

1/2 to 3/4 # ground beef
1# box Velveeta, diced small (may substitute generic version)
1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
6 green onions, washed and diced
1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies, do not drain ( I use Rotel )
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
dash of hot sauce (optional)

Directions:

Brown hamburger in skillet. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder and dash of hot sauce if desired. Drain when done.
Mix cheeses and can of tomatoes together in bowl, microwave 2-3 minutes, stir, then microwave another 2 minutes. Add onions and heat for another minute or two.
Pour into serving bowl and serve hot with your favorite snackers, breads or veggies. Enjoy!
