Whether you’re planning a Super Bowl Party or just looking for something sinfully delicious and decadent ( that doesn’t involve chocolate) this is the recipe to try!
Why would anyone batter and fry bacon, you ask? Well, why not? We do love our wings, nuggets and chicken strips…and let’s not forget the fried pork chops!
I don’t recommend these as a food staple at all, but served as an appetizer or fantastic treat you can’t go wrong with chicken fried bacon!
The hardest part, really is not eating them all yourself. Try a batch soon!

You will need:

Large heavy skillet
Tongs or slotted spatula
Paper towels

Vegetable oil for frying (about 1/2 cup)

1 # bacon (14-16 slices)
1-1/2 cup flour
2 large eggs, beaten
Dash of seasoning salt, pepper and garlic (optional)

Directions:

Place flour in bowl and add dash of salt, pepper and garlic
Cut bacon slices into 3 or 4 pieces
Dip each bacon piece into flour first, then egg, and then back into flour.

Place about 1/4 inch oil in skillet and heat on medium until hot enough that bacon sizzles when placed in it.
Fry until golden brown, turning as needed. carefully remove and drain thoroughly on paper towels before serving.

Serve warm as they are, or have a few dipping sauces available. Delicious…enjoy!
