This year’s game will be played in Miami, Florida on February 7th, 2010. There’s plenty of time to practice making and tasting party snacks!
Give this child friendly cocktail rye with bacon and cheese recipe a try! We usually make a double batch, one with rye the other with pumpernickel and they disappear fast!
Truly delicious!

You will need:

Cookie/baking sheet
Medium bowl
Large spoon

1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
1/3 cup cooked, crispy bacon, crumbled
1/3 cup green onion, chopped fine
1 small can sliced black olives ( I often add 1/4 cup chopped green olives, too )

1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup mayonnaise (I use Hellmann’s)
1 pkg. cocktail rye or pumpernickel bread
dash of seasoned salt
dash of garlic salt

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 375*

Place bread on cookie sheet
Mix all ingredients together with spoon
Spread 1 or 1-1/2 Tbs of mix on each piece of bread.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.

Remove and serve, or freeze and reheat when ready. Enjoy!
