Whether you’re planning a simple party for 2 or a huge Super Bowl party, you’re going to need dips. We all have our favorites for chips and veggies and often end up in a rut…making the same dips year after year.
One I haven’t made in awhile is hot apple pie dip…it’s almost addictive and I found myself eating most of it every time I made it. It is that good!
Give this old dip recipe a try…it’s not only delicious, it’s easy to make and leaves your home smelling like fresh baked apple pie!
This is also kid friendly, but if you have the little ones help you might want to double the recipe!
You will need:
9 or 10 in. pie pan
1 pkg cream cheese, softened
1 large apple peeled, diced small and divided
1/2 tsp cinnamon ( substitute pumpkin pie spice )
2-1/2 Tbs. brown sugar
1/3 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1-1/2 Tbs. pecans pieces ( substitute walnuts )
Preheat oven to 375*
Mix sugar, cinnamon and softened creamed cheese in bowl. Blend well, then stir in half the apple.
Place mixture in pie pan, sprinkle pecans, cheese and rest of apple on top.
Bake for about 15 minutes…just long enough to heat through. Remove, serve with your favorite snackers and enjoy!
Could any dip be more simple or delicious?
