Finding Christmas dinner recipe’s need not be a stressful task. Sometimes simply sticking to the foods we normally eat is the best path to take…we just change the recipe a bit and change the name and usually end up with a dish everyone enjoys. Corn pudding is a creamed corn recipe that is nutritious as well as delicious and quite easy to prepare and is usually eaten as a side dish instead of a dessert. Give it try this Holiday…you might enjoy it enough to make it year ’round!

You will need :

2-3 quart casserole dish
Large bowl
Medium bowl
Whisk
Wooden spoon
Cooking spray

4 Cups cream style corn
2 Tbs. flour
1-1/2 Tbs. sugar

4 medium eggs, well-beaten
2-1/4 Tbs melted butter
2 cups whole milk
salt and pepper

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 375*
Grease casserole dish with cooking spray ( I use butter flavor for this recipe )

Beat eggs well in medium bowl.
Add milk and, then butter to eggs.
Place corn, flour, sugar, salt and pepper in large bowl. Fold egg mixture into corn mix. Stir well.
Pour into casserole dish and bake for 45-50 minutes. It’s done when it’s firm and a medium golden brown.
Remove from oven, serve hot and enjoy!
