Still looking for leftover turkey recipe’s? This turkey pot pie is a simple adaptation of your standard chicken pot pie, but with a more flavorful crust. It only takes minutes to prepare and is ready in less than hour. Great to serve the game during half-time!
You will need:
13 x 9 baking dish
Medium bowl
Wooden spoon
2 cans cream of chicken soup ( substitute cream of mushroom )
3-4 cups frozen mixed vegetables thawed ( thaw in microwave 4-6 minutes )
2-3 cups leftover turkey,diced
1 cup cup milk
2 eggs
2 cups Bisquick
1/2 tsp garlic powder ( optional )
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400*
Mix soup, vegetables and turkey in baking dish. Add salt and pepper to taste.
In medium bowl, mix milk, egg, garlic powder, a dash of salt and pepper, and baking mix together until blended. Pour over turkey mixture and bake for 30-40 minutes . It’s done when top is golden brown.
Remove from oven and serve with a tossed salad, cranberry sauce or coleslaw. Enjoy!
