I am addicted to dipping sauces. I think the whole family is, and we all have our personal favorites to dip our chicken strips, fries, meatballs or anything else in. Honey mustard tops the list, however, and it’s often hard to find and a bit expensive. I began making my own, trying to replicate certain brands and have succeeded with some, failed miserably at others.
The honey mustard recipe below turned out to be a keeper and is so simple to make that I now keep it on hand. Give it a try next time you need a dipping sauce for personal use or when you’re having a party. I doubt you’ll be disappointed!

You will need :

Medium bowl
Whisk
Airtight storage container

1-1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup honey
3-1/2 Tbs Dijon mustard
2 tsp vinegar ( white )
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp seasoned salt
dash of pepper

Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk until well combined. Refrigerate about an hour before use so flavors are blended…then enjoy with your choice of anything you care to dip!
This also makes a great salad dressing and is delicious on sandwiches.

Note: Taste while preparing. For sweeter, add more honey, spicier add more Dijon.
