This Italian paste ( rub ) is a wonderful addition to any meat, especially pork. Store in airtight container (non metal ) in the fridge and add to meat a couple of hours before using. This has a strong garlic flavor, so if you or your family don’t care for it, simply cut back on the amount. Try this rub on any non prepared meat you’re grilling this labor day weekend!

You will need:

Airtight container ( non metal )
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons

1/2 tsp ground mustard
1 Tbsp fresh ground black pepper
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp dried basil
2 Tbsp dried oregano
1/2 Cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 Cup olive oil
1/4 Cup red wine vinegar

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in bowl, stir and pour into jar. Label and don’t forget to store in the refrigerator.
