Once again..it’s a sauce, it’s a dip, it’s simply delicious, especially when served with seafood, chicken or fresh vegetables. Give it try the next time you feel a craving for something other than tartar sauce, or everyday veggie dip.
You will need:
- Medium bowl
- Wooden spoon
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise (We prefer Hellmann’s)
- 1/4 teaspoon tarragon
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 1/2 Tbsp DILL pickle relish
- 1 tsp capers, minced or finely diced
- 2 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 Tbsp Dijon or other spicy brown mustard
- Drop or 2 Tabasco
- 1/4 tsp seasoned salt
Combine the mayo, relish, lemon juice, tarragon, mustard, capers, parsley, salt and tarragon in medium bowl. Blend well by hand ( wooden spoon works best for me ) Add Tabasco, stir, taste and adjust seasonings to your taste as desired . Store covered in fridge until needed.
Make your own spicy mustard by mixing horseradish and yellow mustard together. Just remember…only you can tell how hot you want it!
Cover and refrigerate until serving time.
