Great hamburgers have been an important part of 4th of July BBQ’s for a very long time. This simple recipe adds just a bit of flash to your average burger without taking anything away from all the good stuff you like to add like tomatoes, pickles, or bacon.
2 pound ground beef
2 can (4 ounce size) diced green chilies, drained
2 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
8 slices Monterey Jack cheese
8 hamburger buns
In a medium bowl, mix the beef, diced green chilies, and bouillon. Shape into patties, grilling 3 to 8 minutes per side, or to desired doneness. Top each patty with cheese about 2 minutes prior to removing from grill and load them up with your favorite toppings!
