We love Reese’s Peanut Butter cups so much that with a little time and a lot of delicious practice, we finally found a satisfactory facsimile. Try this easy and kid friendly recipe for a delicious treat!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
You will need:
- 9 x 13 pan
- large bowl
- medium microwavable bowl
- wooden spoon
- 1 cup melted butter or margarine
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter (creamy)
- 2-1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs (we use generic)
- 4 Tbsp peanut butter
- 1-3/4cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (we use Nestles)
Mix melted butter, 1 cup peanut butter, powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs in bowl; use a wooden spoon and blend well.
Spread in pan and press firmly until bottom of pan is covered.
Melt chocolate chips mixed with 4 Tbsp of peanut butter on low in microwave (heat about 30 seconds at a time until melted) Spread mixture over crust and refrigerate for about 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Remove, cut in squares and serve.
