Cool Whip Pie is a kid-friendly and incredibly easy pie recipe especially when you need something quick, fast and very tasty.
Let your kids help you make this. It’s a great dessert treat to have on hand for those very warm days. The recipe does contain nuts.
Cool Whip Pie
1 large Cool Whip Container
1 can crushed pineapple
1 can Eagle brand condensed milk
1 cup of coconut
1 cut chopped walnuts or pecans
6 tablespoons real lemon juice
2 pre-made frozen pie shells, baked
Optional: You can use graham cracker crust pie shells but we think the pre-bake regular ones are better!
Drain pineapple. Fold in milk with Cool Whip with a spoon, slowly add pineapple and nuts. Mix with spoon, add lemon juice 1 Tablespoon @ a time. Place in a cooked pie shell and refrigerate to solidify.
Makes 1 large or 2 small pies.
