Like so many, I enjoy a refreshing glass of lemonade now and then, especially on those hot and humid days. There’s one thing even better, though, and that is frozen lemonade pie. Even with it’s trillion calories, it’s a personal favorite and so easy to make…try the recipe below and see for yourself! It’s kid friendly, too.
Oh, and another added bonus is that there is very little clean-up with this recipe because someone usually licks the bowl clean.
You will need:
Glass pie pan
Whisk or mixer set on low
1 graham cracker pie crust ( may use ready made )
8 oz. tub whipped topping, thawed ( I use Cool Whip or generic )
1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz size)
1 6-ounce can of frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
Directions for crust:
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
6-7 tablespoons butter, melted
Combine cracker crumbs, sugar and melted butter in a medium bowl. Mix with fork until crumbly. Press firmly on bottom and up sides of pie plate. Bake at 350 5-7 minutes…cool completely before adding filling.
Beat together lemonade and condensed milk; fold in Cool Whip. Pour into pie crust. Freeze for at least 3-4 hours until firm. Remove from freezer, slice and enjoy!
